Return to Play in a COVID-safe Environment Plan

Gymnastics ACT based its Return to Play in a COVID-safe Environment Plan on the AIS Framework for Rebooting Sport and Canberra’s Recovery Plan. All clubs should ensure they are familiar with this document and the latest advice from ACT Health.

Further details, including the ACT's Easing of Restrictions Roadmap, are available from the COVID-19 website.

The Plan refers to the Australian Institute of Sport Framework for Rebooting Sport (AIS Framework) as the guiding document for resuming sport and recreation in ACT, although there will be some instances where ACT’s approach varies from the AIS Framework.

The AIS Framework specifies activities for community and individual sports according to the level of restrictions currently in place. ACT sporting organizations should familiarize themselves with the activities at the different levels.

Each club must develop Return to Play in a COVID-safe Environment Plan prior to commencing any activities or return to training. The Sport Australia Return to Sport Toolkit and Gymnastics ACT Rebooting Gymnastics website, should be used to guide and develop these.
